These terms govern your use of Helm Yeah, a study application published by Gybe Digital. By using the app, you agree to them.

1. Educational purpose only

Helm Yeah is a training and education aid for the USCG Navigation Rules (Rules of the Road). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the U.S. Coast Guard or the National Maritime Center.

The app is not navigational, legal, or regulatory advice. Always verify current rules, requirements, and exam details against official U.S. Coast Guard and NMC sources before relying on them, and never use the app for real-time navigation.

2. License

Gybe Digital grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Helm Yeah for your own study. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, tamper with, or attempt to disrupt the app, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

The text of the U.S. Navigation Rules and related federal regulations are works of the U.S. Government. The Helm Yeah name, design, guides, simulator, and other original content are the property of Gybe Digital and are protected by applicable law.

5. No warranty

Helm Yeah is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that content is current or error-free. Passing any practice content in the app does not guarantee performance on an official examination.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gybe Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date above indicates the current version.
